Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments and testing equipment accurately.
- Document quality data, prepare detailed inspection reports, and maintain accurate logs for audit readiness.
- Identify, report, and quarantine non-conforming products to prevent defects from reaching the production line.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory or production floor environment according to SOPs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and quality control processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with high precision.
- Proficiency in using basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation purposes.
- Ability to commit to a 5-day work week and work effectively in the North Region.
