Responsibility
- Perform routine and non-routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and validation are up to date.
- Document test results accurately and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with GMP and ISO standards.
- Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in shift handover meetings to ensure seamless communication and continuity of operations.
- Assist in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot quality-related issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or laboratory setting, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometers.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards.
