Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, samples, and finished garments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Review and verify tech packs and specifications to ensure accuracy before production begins.
- Identify and document defects or discrepancies in materials or finished products, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Perform in-process inspections during various stages of production to prevent defects.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics for reporting purposes.
- Assist in the development and updating of quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the garment or textile industry.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to garment quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
