Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of semiconductor components and electronic parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional tests using precision measuring tools and testing equipment.
- Document and report inspection results, including defects, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test data, and quality metrics for audits and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company quality management systems.
- Participate in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
- Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and production staff on quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC-A-610) and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and trends.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality control (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma) is a plus.
