Responsibility
- Perform thorough inspections of manufactured components and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional tests on products using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, API, ASME).
- Perform incoming material inspections to verify supplier compliance with quality requirements.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Participate in internal and external audits to maintain certification and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, or marine industries.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, API, ASME) and industry-specific regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with welding and machining processes is a plus.
