Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for precast products to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Oversee and conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished precast products to identify defects or deviations from standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, provide corrective actions, and implement preventive measures to minimize defects.
- Manage and maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and audit findings.
- Coordinate and conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in precast production meets specified requirements.
- Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall product quality and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the precast concrete or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, regulations, and best practices, including ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications.
- Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and documentation practices.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
