Responsibility
- Design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems, components, and prototypes using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Conduct feasibility studies, stress analysis, and performance testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with electrical, civil, and software engineers to integrate mechanical designs into multidisciplinary projects.
- Optimize existing mechanical systems for cost-efficiency, durability, and sustainability.
- Prepare and present technical reports, specifications, and documentation for stakeholders and clients.
- Oversee the manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality control.
- Research and implement emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, automation) to enhance mechanical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, development, and testing.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS) and simulation software.
- Strong knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with project management and adherence to budgets/timelines.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ISO, DIN) and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate under constraints.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
