Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis for non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test data, and non-conformance reports.
- Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards, such as ISO 13485, FDA, and other relevant regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality management systems.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the medical or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in using quality control software and tools (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality control (e.g., CQE, ISO Lead Auditor) is a plus.
