Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on construction materials and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Document and report any deviations or non-conformities, and work with the project team to implement corrective actions.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Provide training and guidance to construction personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss quality control issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with local regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QAQC Technician or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
