Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of civil, structural, and architectural works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and checklists for construction projects.
- Perform material testing and verification to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Document and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes related to construction quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QAQC Engineer or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on civil, structural, and architectural works.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulations, including local and international building codes.
- Experience with quality control tools, techniques, and methodologies, including inspection and testing procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Certification in quality assurance or related fields (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
