Responsibility
- Perform thorough inspections of mechanical components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify defects or irregularities in materials and components.
- Document and report inspection results, maintaining accurate records for quality assurance purposes.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to industry standards.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and other staff members as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, inspection, or non-destructive testing.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical components and equipment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Certification in non-destructive testing (NDT) is a plus.
