Responsibility
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of vessel operations, ensuring timely departures and arrivals.
- Maintain accurate records of vessel documentation, including permits, certifications, and compliance reports.
- Liaise with port authorities, crew members, and logistics teams to facilitate smooth vessel operations.
- Monitor and update vessel tracking systems to ensure real-time visibility of fleet movements.
- Support the preparation of operational reports and performance metrics for management review.
- Assist in resolving operational issues and coordinating emergency response procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize vessel utilization and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all vessel operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of maritime operations, vessel documentation, and logistics coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with vessel tracking software is a plus.
