Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage local and export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
- Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations and other relevant shipping laws.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize shipping routes and costs.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
- Implement and maintain best practices for shipping and logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, including Dangerous Goods compliance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using shipping and logistics software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with customs procedures and international shipping regulations.
