Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for sheet metal manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance records.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control best practices and procedures.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
