Responsibility
- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Perform precise measurements and testing using standard laboratory equipment and precision tools.
- Document and report all quality findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions accurately in the system.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of defects and implement effective preventative measures.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability.
- Support the continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality outcomes.
- Adhere strictly to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and company safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and product specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to facilitate inter-departmental reporting.
- Willingness to work on shifts if required by production demands.
