Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and prepare for external audits to maintain compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Oversee supplier quality management, including evaluations, approvals, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address non-conformities and improve processes.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance the QA team's skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to drive continuous improvement in the QMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all stages of production.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000).
  • Experience in conducting audits and managing supplier quality programs.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and quality management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, Lead Auditor) is a plus.
