Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of products at various stages of production to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC inspectors, providing training and guidance to enhance their performance and technical skills.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality deviations and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and drive continuous process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards, including ISO, GMP, and other relevant certifications.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and control within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries.
- Proven leadership experience in managing QA/QC teams and driving quality improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools, such as SPC, MSA, and FMEA.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
