Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market trends.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align demand plans with business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Analyze supply chain metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present demand planning reports to senior management with actionable insights.
- Work closely with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Utilize ERP systems and advanced planning tools to streamline forecasting processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic factors, and market changes that may impact demand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Experience with statistical forecasting tools (e.g., SAS, R, Python) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or demand planning certifications is advantageous.
