Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet production demands.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply and resolve any issues promptly.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement strategies.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, and logistics, to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, orders, and supplier communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed procurement decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of inventory management, contract law, and supplier evaluation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
