As a QA/QC Inspector, you will ensure that all products meet stringent quality benchmarks, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional testing using precision measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Document and report quality control findings, including non-conformities, defects, and deviations, with clear and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics in compliance with ISO and industry-specific standards.
- Monitor and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
- Participate in internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within the manufacturing, automotive, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality standards is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
- Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ASQ CQI, CQA) are highly advantageous.
