Forthress Philippines Corporation is currently seeking a meticulous and highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Tagaytay City. As a cornerstone of our quality management system, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans. You will act as a bridge between engineering designs and site execution, ensuring that every phase of construction adheres to technical specifications. Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive project QA/QC plans and documentation.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor workmanship and material compliance with project specifications.
- Identify, document, and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and oversee corrective actions.
- Review and approve material submittals, test reports, and third-party laboratory results.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure quality benchmarks are met at every milestone.
- Maintain a systematic archive of all quality-related records, including inspection checklists and final handover documents.
- Ensure all site activities align with local building codes, ISO standards, and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 2-4 years of proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methodologies, and quality management systems (ISO 9001).
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and contractual specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage site-level quality audits.
- Professional license (Registered Civil Engineer) is highly preferred.
