Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of MEP installations in data centers to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise testing and commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, power distribution, fire protection, and plumbing.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, test results, and compliance reports for audit and reference purposes.
- Identify and report non-conformities, recommending corrective actions to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Participate in project coordination meetings to provide QA/QC updates and ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, codes, and best practices in MEP systems for data centers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC for MEP systems, preferably in data center or mission-critical facility projects.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC) and local regulations for MEP installations.
- Proven experience in conducting inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using QA/QC tools, documentation software, and project management platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Certification in QA/QC, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent, is a plus.
