Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mobile and crawler cranes to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to plan crane operations, ensuring efficient and safe execution of lifting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and incident reports in accordance with company policies.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and operators on best practices for crane operation, safety protocols, and technical troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, including OSHA and industry-specific standards.
- Assist in the procurement of spare parts and equipment, coordinating with suppliers to maintain inventory levels.
- Participate in risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Diploma holders with extensive experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with mobile cranes and/or crawler cranes, preferably in construction or heavy industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of crane mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Certification in crane inspection, maintenance, or operation (e.g., CCO, LEEA) is highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to train and guide team members effectively.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across Bali as required.
