Responsibility
- Conduct quality inspections and audits of civil works, including foundations, mounting structures, and site preparations for solar projects.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO), and local regulations.
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and checklists tailored to solar project requirements.
- Monitor construction activities to identify and address quality issues, non-conformities, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related challenges and ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action logs.
- Conduct material testing and verification to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality control best practices and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC for civil engineering projects, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO) and local regulations for civil works and solar projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Experience with material testing, inspection tools, and quality control software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification in QA/QC (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, ISO 9001) is a plus.
