Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other specialized testing equipment.
- Maintain detailed, accurate logs and documentation for all quality control activities and audit findings.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformances to the QA supervisor to prevent defective products from reaching the customer.
- Collaborate with production operators to troubleshoot and address quality-related issues on the floor.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing workflows and reduce waste.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and quality standards are strictly adhered to within the facility.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality compliance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office for reporting purposes.
