Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and other departments to streamline processes and enhance product quality.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, providing reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).
- Proven experience in conducting audits and implementing quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for process improvement.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
