Sucere Foods Corporation is seeking a dedicated QA Laboratory Supervisor to lead our quality assurance initiatives in Malolos City, Bulacan. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our laboratory operations, ensuring that our production processesāspanning QAFS, Manufacturing, and Egg processing departmentsāmeet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
As our QA Laboratory Supervisor, you will provide expert guidance to our technical team, oversee rigorous testing protocols, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to maintaining the integrity of our products from raw materials to final distribution.
Responsibility
- Lead, mentor, and supervise laboratory personnel to ensure optimal performance and technical accuracy.
- Oversee daily operations of the Quality Assurance laboratory, ensuring all testing protocols are strictly followed.
- Conduct and review microbiological and chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing, QAFS, and Egg departments to resolve quality deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with local food safety regulations and company-wide quality management systems.
- Maintain laboratory equipment calibration schedules and ensure safe handling of chemical reagents.
- Prepare comprehensive quality reports and trend analyses for management review to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Chemist (PRC License holder).
- Bachelorās degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Willingness to work on-site in Malolos City, Bulacan.
