We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Technical Operator IV to join our world-class manufacturing team in Johor Bahru, Johor.
In this senior technical role, you will be key to maintaining our high standards of operational excellence. You will oversee advanced automated production lines, perform essential troubleshooting, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and product quality. Responsibility
- Set up, calibrate, operate, and monitor complex automated production and assembly machinery.
- Diagnose technical faults and perform immediate troubleshooting and routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular quality checks and diagnostic tests to ensure products comply with strict engineering and customer specifications.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing and process engineers to implement cycle-time reductions and operational improvements.
- Adhere to and promote strict safety, health, and environmental guidelines, including 5S standards on the shop floor.
- Train, mentor, and guide junior operators on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate production logs, equipment maintenance histories, and shift reports.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma or Technical Certificate (SKM) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a technical operator in an electronics manufacturing (EMS) or high-volume precision assembly environment.
- Strong technical aptitude with proven experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems and automated machinery.
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S workplace organization, and standard quality systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and shift rotations at our Johor Bahru facility.
