Responsibility
- Perform detailed inspections of machined components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct testing procedures, including dimensional checks, surface finish evaluations, and functional tests.
- Implement sampling procedures to assess product quality at various stages of the manufacturing process.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality management systems to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a machining or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and quality control techniques.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Good communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
