Responsibility
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and shipment commitments.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or bottlenecks.
- Oversee inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Generate reports on production performance, capacity utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor production planning team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Leadership experience with a track record of team management and development.
