Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to secure high-quality materials and components at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable procurement.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities to optimize procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct regular evaluations, and resolve any supply chain disruptions proactively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier communications using ERP systems.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including lead time delays, quality issues, or cost fluctuations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and reducing procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, ERP systems) and market research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
