Responsibility
- Lead and mentor the Manila Enterprise QA team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and protocols to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define acceptance criteria and validate software functionality.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Drive the adoption of automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct performance, security, and usability testing to ensure software meets industry standards.
- Monitor and report on QA metrics, providing insights to stakeholders for data-driven decision-making.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve QA processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Excellent understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in QA (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
