Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Implement and enforce security policies, protocols, and best practices to protect against cyber threats.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and resolution of security breaches.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and security engineering.
- Proven expertise in network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, AWS Certified Security, or equivalent are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
