Responsibility
- Oversee and monitor quality control processes at all stages of production, from incoming raw materials to finished goods.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure products meet ISO standards and customer requirements.
- Analyze supplier performance and provide feedback to procurement teams to maintain quality benchmarks.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans to address quality issues.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and logistics teams to optimize quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control procedures, test results, and compliance reports.
- Train and mentor junior QA staff on best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques, such as SPC, FMEA, and Six Sigma.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and testing methodologies for chemical products.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus.
