Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendor performance to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee procurement processes in SAP, including purchase orders, invoicing, and inventory tracking.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with demand forecasting and budget constraints.
- Monitor market trends and supply chain risks, proposing mitigation strategies to avoid disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize holding costs while meeting operational requirements.
- Prepare reports and analytics on purchasing KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA (mandatory). Experience with other ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to work with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Familiarity with incoterms, import/export regulations, and global sourcing practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or APICS are highly advantageous.
