Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business requirements while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring alignment with company standards and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and address any issues to maintain high service levels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to forecast demand and align procurement activities.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely supply of materials.
- Analyze market trends, benchmark pricing, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications in ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supplier management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, and cost analysis.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs, and import/export procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
