Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the purchasing team to ensure efficient and timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, logistics, and finance teams, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier contracts, and inventory levels.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, such as delays, quality concerns, or disputes, in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and recommend improvements or alternatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and achieving cost savings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of industry regulations, ethical procurement practices, and risk management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
