Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all stock levels are up-to-date and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Prepare and dispatch outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation, while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize losses or damages.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to support daily operations.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend improvements to inventory management processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards in all warehouse activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Clerk, or similar role in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain.
- Proven ability to manage inventory systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory records, documentation, and physical stock.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
