Responsibility
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best deals for raw materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure timely procurement of supplies.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to forecast budget needs and track expenditures.
- Resolve supply chain issues and discrepancies, maintaining smooth operations.
- Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost analysis, and contract law is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
