Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Supervise the purchasing team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to align procurement with demand forecasts and production schedules.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and supplier evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, such as delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns, in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and ethical procurement practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
