Responsibility

  • Oversee daily purchasing operations, including order placement, supplier coordination, and inventory management.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to optimize procurement budgets and reduce operational costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and inventory levels using ERP or procurement software.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve efficiency and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate product availability and pricing trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, transportation, or logistics industries is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
