Responsibility
- Oversee daily purchasing operations, including order placement, supplier coordination, and inventory management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to optimize procurement budgets and reduce operational costs.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and inventory levels using ERP or procurement software.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve efficiency and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate product availability and pricing trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, transportation, or logistics industries is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
