Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure advantageous deals.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to anticipate changes in supply and demand.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and align purchasing activities with business objectives.
- Oversee the procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, orders, and supplier performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, ethical standards, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
