Responsibility
- Prepare and verify all necessary export-import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, including tariffs, duties, and licensing requirements.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to facilitate smooth clearance of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination, resolving any delays or discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all EXIM transactions and generate reports for management and auditing purposes.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., finance, procurement, warehouse) to align EXIM processes with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve efficiency in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in export-import operations, customs clearance, or logistics coordination.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international trade regulations, including HS codes, INCOTERMS, and free trade agreements.
- Proficiency in EXIM software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data analysis).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Bali’s logistics hubs (e.g., ports, airports) is a plus.
