Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet company operational needs and cost-saving targets.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and service level expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or excess.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and high-quality materials, equipment, and services.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to streamline procurement workflows and improve efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices and regulatory compliance in all transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with procurement regulations, ethical sourcing, and sustainability practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
