Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the entire procurement process, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Analyze inventory levels and demand forecasts to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to procurement.
