Responsibility

  • Manage the entire procurement cycle, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract finalization to secure favorable terms.
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and timelines.
  • Monitor and track order statuses, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee on-time deliveries.
  • Maintain and update procurement records, including vendor databases, pricing agreements, and inventory levels.
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with finance and warehouse teams to align purchasing activities with budgetary constraints and inventory needs.
  • Resolve discrepancies or issues with vendors, such as delivery delays or quality concerns, proactively.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key metrics, savings, and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate supplier performance, costs, and market trends.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian procurement regulations and import/export procedures is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are advantageous.
