Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers to meet company standards for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with internal policies and vendor agreements.
- Monitor and track order deliveries, resolving any delays or discrepancies to maintain production schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier performance using ERP or procurement software.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of materials.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers for critical materials.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or procurement software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with incoterms, shipping logistics, and international trade regulations is a plus.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all procurement activities.
