Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet company standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the organization.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or excess.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, agreements, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align procurement activities with budgetary constraints.
- Resolve discrepancies or issues with suppliers, including delays, quality concerns, or billing errors.
- Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities in the industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles (preferably in manufacturing or logistics).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make cost-effective decisions.
- Knowledge of local and international supplier markets, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
