Responsibility
- Source and procure high-quality ingredients, equipment, and supplies for restaurant operations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to forecast demand and plan procurement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in purchasing.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders, deliveries, or invoices promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of local and international supplier markets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
