Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure advantageous pricing and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders, deliveries, or invoices promptly.
- Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate supplier offers and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations is a plus.
